As an extension of your care, PDR always puts patients first.

Providers & Referring Physicians

Not all rehabilitation programs are the same. At PDR Clinics, we put the patient’s needs above everything else. As an extension of your care, we believe it is important to keep you informed of your patient’s progress on a regular basis by sending you updates on their plan of care and progress.

Our physicians are specialty trained in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Occupational Medicine. They evaluate each patient to determine the best plan of care. Should they be referred in to therapy, each patient will receive a customized program specifically designed to meet their individual needs. Our Advanced Practice Physical and Occupational Therapists receive on-going training to ensure mastery of current, evidence-based therapies and work closely with each patient during their treatment to ensure the optimal outcome is achieved.

For over 25 years, Physicians’ Diagnostics & Rehabilitation Clinics (PDR) has specialized in conservative, biopsychosocial, active rehabilitation. Our treatment approach considers the “whole” person by addressing both the physiological issue as well as any psychosocial barriers that may be accompany chronic pain. It has been shown that functional treatment combined with a cognitive behavioral approach improves patient outcomes.

Functional Approach

PDR customizes each program to improve individual’s function, strength, range of motion and endurance. For individuals seeking treatment for neck or back pain, PDR utilizes MedX medical equipment to isolate and strengthen key muscles. It also provides objective data on a patient’s strength and range of motion improvement which are two excellent indicators of improved function.

Cognitive Behavioral Coaching (CBC)

Our unique program identifies and addresses the psychological barriers that often accompany chronic pain in a simple and manageable way. PDR does not assign a psychological diagnosis; we simply identify barriers that could impede a patient’s progress. Each member of the PDR Team has been trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) principles. We have coined our approach as “Cognitive Behavioral Coaching (CBC)” as each therapist seamlessly integrates these principles of into every day conversations with the patient in order to help the patient address and manage fears, anxieties and other barriers preventing them from their optimal outcome. This evidence-based approach has allowed us to achieve excellent outcomes for thousands of patients over the past several years.

Continuous Quality Improvement

PDR’s Quality Program measures and reports outcomes on an ongoing basis. The data provides a gauge on the effectiveness of our treatment, feedback on new programs and services, as well as provides insight into opportunities for improvement – all of which support continuous growth, innovation, and improvement in the area of musculoskeletal treatment.

The PDR Institue

The PDR Institute is the foundation of PDR Clinics’ rehabilitation program. It ensures consistent quality service is delivered every time – regardless of the clinic location or provider.
